Easy Breezy Coastal Living

Can’t decide the most beneficial way to spend these slowly-warming-up seaside days? Really smart people, and all those online life coaches, keep telling us the key to optimum health and mental well-being is less screen time and more sun time (Vitamin D for the win!), emphasizing that physical activity improves our mental stability. Now’s the time to get outside and grow that garden (if you’re grower-inclined), strengthen our bodies through beach yoga and brisk walks (great for step counting!) and, consequently, boost our once winter-weary minds.

It’s important to note, however, that the more relaxed among us may prefer to ease into each season comfortably. Some of us are not cardio inclined and like to keep things easy breezy.  Maybe you’re more the “sedentary” type and the mere thought of physical exertion clearly conflicts with your laid-back vibe. You’d rather chill out than work out. No worries, the coastal outdoors are still calling! A good book enjoyed while lounging on the porch, close to the sea, is good for the body and soul (and also the best place to admire someone else’s garden). A coastal drive (during your book break), windows down, is another great outdoor activity. Picture taking (when parked) captures that scenic moment, signifying time well spent. Outdoor living at its finest if not fittest😊

Seaside, we’re all fit for greatness! Whether working out or winding down, the Great Outdoors beckons us all! Let’s get out there, breathe it all in, and enjoy that picturesque spring view (no step counting required) …
