The Colors of a Seaside Winter…

The perfect spot to watch a colorful winter go by (Wildwood, NJ January 2023)
The color of springtime is flowers; the color of winter is our imaginations… ~ Teri Guillemets
Imagining warmer (Summer 2025) times to come as we journey through these definitely darker days? Well, let’s get back to the present moment, shall we? No, it’s not bestsellers- best- read- by- the- beach weather, but that’s okay. We’ve got blockbuster books by fireside, savory soups and sweet hot chocolate sure to warm us body & soul. The cold air just smells sweeter, why not get out there and breathe it all in (properly attired, of course?) Walk those beach blocks, where the view is always picturesque no matter what the season (and more spacious without the crowds consuming it). We don’t need a winter wonderland to appreciate that view (although snow drifting over the sea sure is pretty) … ❄️❄️
Let’s walk our way through winter, take in those sights, sure to lead us (eventually) back to where we started (fireside and cozy). While we imagine those summer days in the not-so-distant future, let’s appreciate the present moment. Drive through town, beachside to bay, sunrise to sunset, trusting that soon enough those flowers will bloom, the sun will eclipse the dark and we’ll be able to drive with the windows down once again. Until then, let’s meet these limited-light moments with a bit of positivity and remember, when it snows you have two choices: shovel or make snow angels (thank you, Pinterest).
Here’s to a winter of angels and optimism!

To angels and optimism! 😇
