Summer’s Sandy Tracks…

As we settle into summer, by surf and by sandy land, we’re gonna need an anthem, songs of celebration for the most melodious time of year sure to evoke our best summer memories. What might your playlist include? There’s so many summer tunes to choose from! Music organically inspires within us the best that summer has to offer, from summer love to chilling on the beach, carefree and (cautiously) tan. We’ve got Sheryl Crowe encouraging us to “Soak up the Sun,”  Katrina and the Waves has us  “Walking on Sunshine,” and, of course, the Zac Brown Band’s got us “Knee Deep” with our “Toes” in the sand. Happily, Kenny Chesney’s there “When the Sun Goes Down” and the temperature cools off a bit.

As we compile that oh-so-important, beach-inspired playlist sure to epitomize all that summer means to us, from the classics (retro lovers we are) to the modern (current is also cool), let’s remember the theme of summer:  just plain fun in the sun! 🌞

Should your otherwise sunny summer disposition need the occasional boost, is there a better instant mood lifter than the Drifters “Under the Boardwalk,” “Summer Breeze,” by Seals & Crofts or “Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles?”

Let’s celebrate the sunny Summer of 2025 in soundtrack style (cocktails and ocean view recommended but not required.) 🍹🏖️😎
