Sunset Resolutions…

Watching more winter sunsets: the easiest resolution to keep! (Wildwood, NJ)
Dear New Year’s Resolutions,
Well, it was fun while it lasted.
Sincerely, January 2nd (gallerycollection.com)
Why is it so hard to keep New Year’s resolutions? What is our problem? (apologies to the steadfast among us who make and keep resolutions beyond January 2nd.) Are we just setting our sights too high? Then again, is simply deciding to just survive another winter setting our sights too low?
Maybe the key to resolutions, like all things in life, is a matter of balance…
For example, instead of resolving to own beachfront property, maybe we plan for more beach weekends (walking to instead of waking up at the beach?)
Maybe the secret is finding that balance between less and more…
Instead of resolving to lose those 10 plus pounds, why not determine to gently introduce less carbs to more cardio (caramel latte lite meets calisthenics heavy)
Maybe we’d love winter more if we’d resolve to do less…
More social (beachside) meetings…less social media (no danger of FOMO)
More sapphire skies and bright sunrises… less winter blues
More sand in our shoes…less stress in our souls
Remember, witnessing the wonder of snow gliding over the ocean and wandering blissfully through each blustery, picturesque day leaves no time for wishing the winter away.
Here’s wishing for a scenic winter of wonder and wander…
