A Santa-Approved View

Flashing back to a morning sunrise in Wildwood, NJ December 2019

The Holidays of 2015 were filled with the most entertaining Stars, so much Joy and even a former couple (Hello, Brad and Angelina!)  We crossed paths with some colorful characters on our festive Road Chip, er, Trip, including the Peanuts Gang, two Sisters and more than one Jennifer Lawrence sighting! The Secret in Their Eyes revealed the now well-known truth, there’s no sweeter time of year and no brighter place to be than by The Heart of the Sea…

Hope you enjoy this week’s sweet, heartfelt Trip Back in Movie Time Tour

In the Heart of the Sea, our holiday cast has captured the true spirit of the season and have thrown their latest scripts into the watery mass in favor of time with family and friends, unlimited beach access and, of course, a meet-and-greet with a mysterious, sunglass-clad Santa (a celebrity in the non-Hollywood sense). Sisters reminiscing about their childhood beach vacation discover Joy (the quality as well as the character) brimming like uncovered buried treasure on our quiet beaches, making the season even more festive. The mystery of that vast sea reveals The Secret in Their Eyes (but thankfully not their real ages) while a long stroll on the sleepy Boardwalk proves to be more scenic than the path traveled by Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip. All of our stars are happy they followed the road leading to our sandy shores, where the scent of cinnamon and salt air reminds them there’s no merrier place to be than Wildwood by-the-Sea…

Before following the merry road leading to your nearest movie theater, please check your local listings for release date changes.

The Peanuts Movie (opens November 6th) follows the escapades of Charlie Brown, Snoopy (voiced by Noah Schnapp and Bill Melendez) and friends as they follow the 3D animated path leading to the most colorful sand and surf.

In 1970s France, the lives of a former dancer and her American writer husband (Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt) are examined By the Sea (opens November 13th) without the benefits of a boogie board, sandcastle or storytelling Boardwalk in sight.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 2 (opens November 20th) finds Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and District 13 taking on the tyrannical Capitol and once again wishing they could peacefully resolve their differences over a stimulating round of skee ball.

The Secret in Their Eyes (opens November 20th) holds the key to a pre-winter seaside retreat (and holiday sales) as well as the answer to the brutal murder that occurred within a close circle of FBI investigators (including Julia Roberts and Nicole Kidman). Revved up by the Cheer Tech Island Championship, Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) is back to train and guide Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan, opens November 25th), son of the late Apollo Creed.

The “Battle of the Boards” Basketball Tournament would have made for a welcomed distraction for the struggling crew (led by Chris Hemsworth) of a 19th century whaling ship that sunk In The Heart of the Sea (opens December 11th).

Within The Star Wars: Episode VII-The Force Awakens (opens December 18th) and continues the long-running George Lucas saga after a starry stop at the also long-running Hereford Inlet Lighthouse Christmas Tree Lighting.

Learning their childhood home is being sold, Sisters (Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, opens December 18th) get some great ideas during the Holiday Tours before throwing a farewell party.

Believing Dave (Jason Lee) is going to propose to his girlfriend, Alvin and the Chipmunks (voiced by Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler and Jesse McCartney (take) The Road Chip (opens December 23rd) to New York to talk him out of proposing and into going to the Greater Wildwood Jaycees Christmas Parade with them instead.

Joy (Jennifer Lawrence, opens December 25th) is on a wild, rollercoaster ride through life, during which time she becomes the founder and matriarch of a business dynasty, inspiring their very own Family Holiday Celebration. Also stars Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro.

Beneath a moonlit sky, Star Wars: Episode VII-The Force Awakens the next creative chapter for our force-to-be reckon with Hollywood stars, who can’t contain their enthusiasm for all things seaside. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 offers games not currently found in our always-satisfying arcades while a seaside movie marathon including The Peanuts Movie (and lots of buttered popcorn) is tops on everyone’s Christmas lists. Creed leads our cast of believers straight into a brand new year with high hopes the harmony and holiday magic they’ve discovered will keep them warm and cozy all winter long By the Sea…🎄🎁🎅
