People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day…

Do nothing today!
Really? It’s a beautiful summer day! Shouldn’t we be filling it with…Something? Think of all the things we could be doing today; beachcombing, boogie boarding, boardwalk strolling… all totally acceptable summer activities. However, there are those among us (you know who you are) who have mastered a most underrated activity: the art of doing nothing, a legit, responsibility-free, no-wristwatch needed day.
What exactly qualifies for “doing nothing,” you may wonder…does it entail getting out of bed? Is certain attire required?
The beauty of doing nothing is there are no rules, no judgement, no dress codes (although dressing in some form of attire is encouraged). It’s rising when you feel like it (trusting the sunrise will forgive you if you miss it), eat when you want to, basically, we’re just rolling with the ebbs and flows of seaside life. In practical terms, it’s a Nonscheduled Day, the No Plans for Me Day, where anything is possible when nothing is determined.
PJs all day? Why not? Breakfast for lunch? Sounds delicious! Siesta under the sun? Go for it! Spontaneity is the name of this game, my seaside friends!
With the most beautiful of settings, may you have a soothing for the soul kind of day, the kind not written on your calendar, from sunrise to sunset…
