Got all your baking, decorating, shopping and that all-important Wish List done? No? Me, neither. So much to do, with so little time left to do it! It’s enough to stress out even Santa! What if, instead of stressing our way through the holidays, we focused less on what’s left to do and more on all there is to be this sweet season? What if we focused more on what is arguably the brightest season of the year (and refuse to worry about paying for the parts of brightness that only the electric company can provide?)

Instead of worrying about that never-ending To-Do List, why not direct our attention to an even-more important, yet somehow underrated, To-Be List? Who We Are versus What We Do.

 This holiday season, I’d like To Be:

A Believer in all things magic…A Giver of my time…A Bundled-up beach bum…A Creator of kindness…An Early Morning Riser (get in that sunrise over the ocean for the ultimate stress reliever) …An Appreciator of life’s littlest things and life’s most lovable people… in other words, a Lover of all things that Christmas inspires, found only in the heart (sorry, Amazon) …
