A Pastel Paradise

The best place to be is seaside…. (Wildwood, NJ April 2024)

The world has finally awakened from its seaside slumber. The seagulls have returned, filling those blue (occasionally rainy) skies, and we’re ready for action! There’s so much we could be doing this oh-so-pretty season, it’s easy to forget all that we should be Being…

No worries, though. On this easy, breezy, loosely compiled Idea of Shoulds, we’re basically Being who we want to Be. Some of us want to Be Sunrise Watchers, for others, being a Late-Morning-Snoozer, Eventual Sunset Seeker might suffice. We can Be a Morning Person or a Night Owl (it’s challenging to Be both but kudos to those who are.)

We can Be a Blissful Beach Walker or a Contented Couch Lingerer (hey, it’s not summer yet and those binge-worthy series (we salute you, Outlander!) deserve an audience!

Bonus points for those who, on a well-managed day, get to Be Both😊

We can Be a Master Gardner or a Secondary Sightseer, growing something or admiring its bounty and beauty (the latter my personal preference.)

We get to Be a Boardwalk Bike Rider or a Boardwalk Bench Warmer, knowing either way, we’re cordially invited to Be a witness to all those coastal sights have to offer.
