Summer’s Seaside Purpose

Happy (Seaside) Trails

Headed in the best direction (Wildwood, NJ Summer 2026)

If you don’t know where you’re going, you might end up someplace else. Yogi Berra

It always helps to have a plan…or does it? Perhaps it’s the “Planless” path that gets us to the best destinations, especially with summer passing us by at lightning speed.

So, how should we spend these waning but still wonderful days?

Maybe the best step we can take is throwing those pesky calendars into the ocean (metaphorically speaking, of course!) We’re in the moment here, seasiders! We don’t need to be  crossing days off our timetables. There is no time by the sea (apart from Happy Hour, of course), just the scenic space between sunrise and sunset.

Our purpose in that sweet in-between space?

Maybe, just maybe, we aim for timeless moments spent gazing beyond the horizon, glancing bits of Heaven and discovering less really is more. When we realize the less we do, the more we will accomplish. 🧘‍♀️

Beach bums had this figured out pretty quickly. True contentment resides in the stillness, not the storm.

Let’s live simply and blissfully on purpose these diminishing sweet summer days, knowing we’ll end up in the happiest places.
