The days are getting shorter and the beaches are getting decidedly quieter, but life by the sea remains just as sweet…

September is a month of transition, from beach bums to back-to-work warriors. After a summer of play, what might our objectives be as we head toward autumn?

Clearly, this is serious business! Fall flies by quicker than a seagull with a sandwich!

I aim to…

Be the best pumpkin picker, vegetable soup maker and apple pie eater…to make time for those arriving-later sunrises and reaches-us-a-bit-sooner sunsets…

…to admire those falling, amber-colored leaves…to let go of the weight of worry in exchange for the lightness of life by the sea, where the Harvest Moon promises to illuminate the way into the prettiest seaside season…
